With expertise in deep-hole drilling (up to 3,000 meters) and complex directional drilling, we provide accurate sampling and efficient operations for tier-one miners and junior explorers alike. Led by DDH1 Drilling, Swick Mining Services, Ausdrill, Ranger Drilling and Strike Drilling, our drilling capability sits in the top three globally. With experience in open pit and underground mining drilling, our operations are based on efficiency, safety and innovation. Our Ausdrill business is trusted for drill-and-blast, grade control and exploration services across major projects. DDH1 is highly sought after for its deep hole diamond drilling expertise in complex geology.

Through Swick Mining Services we deliver reliable underground diamond coring and manufacture advanced drill rigs, setting industry benchmarks for safety and efficiency. Strike Drilling and Ranger Drilling are trusted for air core, reverse circulation and water bore drilling, supporting iron ore and gold projects. These capabilities enable us to serve diverse commodities across the continent, including gold, copper, nickel and lithium.

We are leaders in underground diamond coring for Africa’s hard rock mining industry through our African Underground Mining Services business and Barminco businesses. Our projects, people and fleet are deployed across key mining regions in Africa – delivering certainty for our clients. Our African drilling capabilities are integrated with our contract mining operations, supporting exploration and grade control for major surface and underground projects.

Through our African Mining Services (AMS), we deliver drill-and-blast and RC drilling across Ghana, Burkina Faso and Botswana. Our teams combine technical expertise with local partnerships to ensure safe, efficient drilling in remote and challenging environments.

Our drilling expertise extends to Europe through Swick Mining Services, where we are leaders in underground diamond coring. Our specialist rigs are capable of drilling some of the deepest and most complex holes.
