Ausdrill addressed this through programmable electronic detonators, specialist blasting contractors, and carefully modelled drill patterns – protecting community heritage while maintaining operational outcomes. Similarly, at Eliwana iron ore mine, tight blasting tolerances were required to protect sensitive heritage sites and geological structures. Our team successfully opened a crusher pocket in sheer cliff rock and completed a 3,000-tonne concrete pour for a superstructure, demonstrating precision delivery under pressure.

The trial of a Sandvik TH665B battery-electric haul truck at AngloGold Ashanti’s Sunrise Dam gold mine displaced litres of diesel and avoided tonnes of CO₂ emissions, while also reducing heat and noise underground.
